Citizens' Trade Association backs rail plans in East Boston hall

The Citizens' Trade Association met at Pythian Hall in East Boston to push better horse railroad service for the Third and Fourth Sections. Metropolitan Company promised to visit East Boston to assess track locations, but hesitates to take new duties while awaiting Supreme Court decisions. Committees were instructed to oppose cutting or tunneling the hill by the Lynn and Revere Railroad. A Globe Theatre revival is expected with B F Lowell to join in a key managerial role, earning public confidence for the venture.
