Rochester Man Arrested in Brakeman Killing Case
Henry Insley, a destitute youth, was arrested on Front Street after a Lyons brakeman was shot during a freight train assault by tramps. Insley initially denied Lyons, then admitted being there the night of the incident. He claimed his head wound came from a sidewalk fall and was jailed as a suspect.

Insane Woman Tries Suicide, Falls Before Train in Stamford
Mrs Patrick Doran, deemed temporarily insane, threw herself before a railroad train this afternoon in Stamford Connecticut. She was knocked off the tracks and into a shallow river embankment, fished out, and arrested. Her husband, a blacksmith, took her home after she said neighbors had been annoying and calling her names.

First Genuine Trichiniasis Cases Reported in New York
A New York City upholsterer Charles Hennigs his wife Katie and their son Edward developed trichiniasis after eating raw pork or sausage from a Third Avenue butcher. They were hospitalized at Presbyterian Hospital. Doctors initially misdiagnosed as rheumatism. later confirmed as trichiniasis with the wife and child also affected. No other local cases reported.

Paris November 15 Maitre Clunet lawyer for Mr Ed ward Parker Deacon said the Court of Appeals procedure tomorrow will not admit witnesses. He said sworn affidavits will show Mrs Deacon has long neglected her children and is unfit to have custody of their daughter. He added Deacon will not press further than necessary to obtain custody.
