The 12-26-62 Allen numbers did not appear in the policy districts of the city. In Kirkland and Pleasant streets and the South End hundreds of policy fiends watched as the forenoon 62 showed in Frankfort and the afternoon drawn numbers failed to materialize. Dream books and “gold and silver gigs” are cited with claims the election was influenced by 7-10-70 and 13-25-60 numbers, while followers seek a BR. S. M. gig from Isaac’s dream.
