New York thief after prison job lands in larger trouble
Samuel Feidnner a 21 year old former Massachusetts Penitentiary inmate worked as a delivery boy for florist Herman Warendorff at 1213 Broadway. On September 2 he delivered a package to No 7% Mages avenue, stole a $100 diamond ring and $25 field glasses, pawned them, went to the Atlanta Exposition, planned to sail for England today, and was arrested. Magistrate Mott held him in $2000 for trial.

Doctor Fatally Shoots Drugist in Athol Woods
Dr W Edgar shot Earl Goodrich during a hunting trip near South Athol road. The gun discharged when his cat spooked it in brush, killing Goodrich instantly. Sheriff Doane and medical examiner arrived. Goodrich, a Granby native, had lived in Athol about six years and was insured for 3000 dollars. Edgar, from Providence Rhode Island, was a close friend of the victim.
