In Lewiston Maine on November 12 La fayette Cook of South Auburn foretold his death within a fortnight. He breakfasted that Sunday, shaved at 3 pm, wore a clean shirt, then lay down with one arm by his side and never spoke again. He died in the early hours of the morning without obvious cause. He was aged about fifty to sixty and described as eccentric.

GULEENSBERG Pa Nov 12. Jacob Noble who fatally cut Audley with a hatchet at Scottsdale Sunday night was cornered by officers as several women, armed with clothes fines, tried to snag him. Police managed to place Noble in jail.
