At about 10 40 p m Saturday three barns on John S Maxwell’s Medford Street property in South Medford burned. A passer by alerted poultry dealer George L Downing who rents the barn and the blaze was soon controlled. A window breakout by the arsonist allowed escape but A A Martin 24 Somerville was arrested at 11 05 bleeding from glass cuts. He will appear in Malden court tomorrow morning.
