Aguinaldo Expedition Set For North Luzon Move

Manila November 5. A fleet convoy sails for an autumn expedition to Dagupan and nearby north Luzon ports. General Wheaton leads a brigade including the Thirteenth and Thirty-third Infantry with artillery and gatling guns aboard Sheridan, Francisco De Reyes, and Aztec, escorted by Helena. A despatch boat precedes to rendezvous with Charleston as the fleet pounds shore defenses. The operation aims to threaten Dagupan Manila rail lines and prevent a northern insurgent base as MacArthur Lawton move from multiple directions. Deser tions and collapsing support are expected to erode Aguinaldo's grip. insurgent guerrilla fighting will persist.

Shot at Hyde Park Ends in Fatal Accident Waits for Suspect

At Hyde Park on November 6 Dinsinzo Zentre was shot by fellow worker Generose Peatrice at about 8 pm near their NY, NH & Hartford railroad shanty. Night Watchman Pietro witnessed the shooting and Zentre was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with a possible fatal head wound. Peatrice fled toward Boston as police in Boston and local authorities issued a description.
