Packard Launches National Truck Efficiency Test

The Packard Motor Car Company opened the National Truck Efficiency Test on June 1 to promote higher motor truck efficiency for government service. The program, in cooperation with the National Council of Defense and War Industries Board, aims to cut railroad congestion and show exact truck operation costs using the National Standard Truck Cost System.
