Gangplank Breaks Causing Panic at Navy Yard Visit

The cruiser Fiermosca tied at dock No. 1 drew crowds of mostly Italians when the gangplank broke throwing occupants into a crowd below. No injuries were reported though many were frightened. The yard reopened to visitors 2 to 5 pm, then after the incident the ship was closed.

Football player's death after game sparks fan violence at stadium
