Draper labeled as two faces by Boston Machinists on unions
Boston Lodge of Machinists 264 accuses Eben S. Draper of opposing unions while courting votes. They say as Hopedale stockholder and Draper mills owner he barred unionization, barred workers from living outside Hopedale, and deducted hotel costs from wages. The union notes a past move to South Framingham and demands consistency.
