President Wilson receives a tremendous 30 minute ovation at Madison Square Garden as vast crowds cheer him. He later addresses Wall Street leaders and business men, drawing applause along crowded streets of New York.
A 10 year old boy, Joseph Connelly of Somerville, was held up at 34 Fountain Avenue, tied to an electric light pole, and robbed by 15 year old Albert Holmes, noted by police for a long juvenile record and no fixed home. The incident was reported as police continue their investigation.
A public letter labels Senator Lodge as a tool of interests and champions Joseph L. Martin from Dorchester for the U S Senate, asserting the people will choose a senator over private interests this year.
Athens dispatches report the arrest of a German officer at Larissa with a German legation mail pouch bound for the Bulgarian front. The pouch allegedly held messages to Sofia and Constantinople, plans of Suez canal defenses, and compromising letters from the Greek King and Queen to the German Emperor.
London dispatch reports a large revolution erupting southwest of Saloniki after months of civil strife over Greece's wartime stance. Germans abandon Ft Vaux to the French as Italians press a new offensive, indicating a broad shift in the theater.
About 600 insurgents, likely Venizelist followers, drove 15 royalist troops from Katerina near the Gulf of Saloniki and forced a retreat toward Larissa in Thessaly. The royalist force, under royal orders, aims to halt the revolutionists at all costs and awaits reinforcements.
Mrs Florence Sanborn widow of Charles E Sanborn of Chase and Sanborn was struck by apoplexy in an electric coupe outrunning in Harvard square Cambridge last evening. The car hit a lamp post and then a surface car vestibule. she was taken to Cambridge Hospital in serious condition.
Mrs. Sanborn, who lives at the Hotel Somerset, drove an electric coupe from Winchester toward Boston. She suffered an apoplexy while entering Harvard Square, the car veered and struck a lamp post before colliding with a trolley vestibule car. She was taken to Cambridge Hospital in a dangerous condition.
Two Deutschland sailors argued with a waiter in New London on November 2 and stabbed the waiter in the arm with a pocketknife. The men fled toward the Willehad where the crew quarters are. Police searched the ship but did not locate the sailors. The waiter’s injury was not serious.
Victor Carlstrom attempted a nonstop Chicago to New York flight but halted at Erie due to a defective gasoline feed joint. He set an American cross country non stop record by flying 480 miles Chicago to Erie in 4 hours 17 minutes and posted a new distance speed record of about 112 mph before resuming toward New York and landing at Hammondsport, extending the day to roughly 635 miles, with the goal to reach New York by morning.

Charles E Holt Jr six to twelve year old son of Mr and Mrs Holt of Oakland Street Lexington was injured yesterday afternoon when struck by an automobile on Clarke Street in front of Hancock School where he attends the primary grade. The car was driven by Mrs Clifford W Pierce of Massachusetts Avenue Lexington.
