Cheer and Rally End as Republican Speakers Engage Boston Crowd

In South Boston, a large audience filled Natalie Hall to hear Republican leaders discuss epics and policy. Ex-Speaker McCall and ex-Representative E. B. Gall led the program while George B. Pierce and John K. Berry spoke for Congress in the tenth district. The crowd applauded and cheered for Bryan and for the Republicans as the meeting concluded. Democrats left amid laughter and lighthearted remarks.

Pierce Campaign Moves Across Ward Lines

Dr George B Pierce Republican candidate for Congress in the tenth district has closed headquarter operations at Hotel Bellevue and moved to Ward 17 to campaign. His manager Henry Bowden also left Parker House for Ward 20 to finish campaign work on Yesterday Lane. Dan Powers and Wash visited Republican State headquarters to confer with Senator Led and plan district speaks. No word yet from Pierce or his managers.

Rally in Ward 11 Draws Democrats to Club Rooms

A large crowd of Democrats in Ward 11 packed the ward club rooms at Charles and Chestnut last night to hear D J McGillicuddy, chair of the ant committee and candidate for senator in the district, oppose Senator Ross. Dowd also spoke on the stump and fielded questions. A meeting in the ward is set for next Sunday with Dowd again addressing the Democrats.

Republican Withdrawals Filed With City Committee

Withdrawals were filed yesterday with the Republican city committee including William T.
