Two Riders Die in Waltham Motor Tandem Crash

A motor tandem collision at the Waltham Bicycle Park during Memorial Day racing killed Harry Miles of Lynn and William F. Stafford of Cambridge. Miles died instantly when his head struck an electric pole. Stafford died after two hours, with Miles's fiancée May Nealan witnessing the tragedy.
