Yale University baseball team defeated the New York Athletic Club nine easily. Yale pitchers Cook and Sullivan held the New Yorkers to nine runs while Yale booted one error. Yale batted well and played clean defense led by strong work from Cook who was in the box.
Yale freshmen won decisively over Phillips Andover this afternoon by 10 to 2. Batteries were McKelver and Cunha for Yale against Mains and Winslow for Andover. Hits favored Yale 4 to 4 with 1 error for Yale and 4 for Andover.
The Andovers of the South End beat Marlboro A. A. 16 to 9 at Chelsea Park yesterday morning and defeated the Savoy Buds 7 to 5 at Randolph Field in the afternoon.
