A Lansing official confirms no such incorporation exists in Michigan records from secretary H H Conant.
Special Despatch to the Boston Post reports the senate committee on naval affairs opposes the house passed bill restoring Capt Alfred Hopkins who left Pensacola during the yellow fever epidemic. The measure is expected to be defeated. A court martial for Judge Advocate General Swaim will likely be ordered next week. Secretary Chandler’s son is set to be appointed a cadet at Annapolis by the president.
