Daring Aviator and Navigator Rescued Off Irish Coast

London rejoiced as Hawker and Grieve were rescued an hour and a half after their plane went down eight hundred miles off Ireland. The ship had no wireless, and the aviators faced peril at sea. Hawker reports his machine halted due to a blocked water filter in the feed pipe from radiator to the water pump, caused by refuse like solder in the radiator. Rolls-Royce remained faultless. landing on the sea, rescued by the Mary after 90 minutes afloat. The crew plans to leave Thurso at 2 pm Monday, arrive London Tuesday evening.
