The Wamsutta mills of New Bedford have declared a dividend of 82 per share payable June 1 to stock of today. The last previous dividend was in June, 1884.

Northern Palace Cars To Run From Boston And Lowell

The Northern Palace Car company introduces parlor cars named Winnepesaukee Memphremagog Crawford and Franconia to link Boston and Lowell with the White Mountains and northern lines. Cars will connect with New York boats at Fall River and with Providence and Worcester trains, offering time saving routes to Fabyan s and Mt Washington. A Mann boudoir car will join the White Mountain train from June 39. The Boston and Maine timetable changes June 29 will double through trains while keeping some routes, with shifts to run along the sea shore from South Berwick to Portland. The Pennsylvania railroad cuts first class rates by 25 percent as part of a national rate war. Boston and Lowell begins a market train run from Arlington to Boston at 4:55 A M for one month.
