Books and notices on Fourier tale and new releases
Henry Russell and two Boston publishers comment on a Fourier based tale as indifferent in merit. The Comic Blackstone parts 3 and 4 arrive from Carey Hart, priced 25 cents. Three Experiments of Living series editions noted by Philips Sampson from Appleton. The Bible Against Protestantism by Rt Rev Dr Sheil released in American stereotype edition, endorsed by Bishop Fenwick, available at 61 Federal Street.

Early Melon Delights Reported in Tallahassee
Col Sherwood and friends enjoyed a homegrown watermelon grown at the place. The Tallahassee Journal notes warm weather making the fruit delicious. A superb African watermelon was eaten nearby eight days from the West Indies and seeds are in the ground. We expect ripe melons in August amid drought in Florida.
