Lowett May 20 The first annual convention of the Ancient Order of Foresters in Massachusetts opened with Mayor Palmer welcoming the city. Delegates totaled 101 from sixty two courts. Secretary treasurer reports 7386 members, up 1819 since Grand Court organized. sixty eight courts, up twelve. Afternoon devoted to discussing proposed amendments to the laws.
