Funeral of Bishop Morris Brown in Philadelphia

The remains of the Right Rev Morris Brown second bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church were followed to the grave in Philadelphia on Monday by a large concourse of his colored brethren. The coffin was carried on a bier by ministers wearing white scarfs and scrolls represented the six conferences over which he presided. The mourners followed, then the daughters of conference, one hundred seventy in number, uniformly clad in deep mourning. A long procession of males and females brought up the rear.
