Harvard student Starbuck missing from Andover home

C E Starbuck the son of a Reverend from Andover Mass left home Thursday morning to attend Harvard College and has not been seen since. The family fears foul play and a report from Cambridge Station notes the missing student is described as studious and homesick.

Riot in Detroit Involves 10000 Crowd and Police Clash

Ten thousand residents and youths roamed Detroit streets for over three hours in a riot that left twelve civilians and five officers injured. Police on foot and horseback dispersed the mob with clubs and charges as bricks and stones flew. by eleven o'clock the city was quiet.

Missing Cambridge Girls Feared Foul Play As Parents Alarmed

Julia Anderson ten and Alice Kendall eight both colored left their Cambridge home to attend school and were not heard from by late evening. Authorities at Station 2 were alerted as fears grow they were harmed.

Stolen from Dodge team outside Mrs Fairbanks home

About $30 was taken last evening from four bundles as F A Leonard, driving a Dodge express team, stood outside Mrs Fairbanks home at the Hampshire and Union streets corner in Cambridge. A nearby youth saw a man drive up and take something, then depart swiftly.

Lowell Linemen Strike At New England Telephone

Fifteen Lowell linemen employed by the local division of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company will strike today for the same terms as demanded by the Boston union. Representatives from several local unions pledged support at a meeting last night.
