Mysterious Charter Street Hermit Ejected As Health Board Reclaims Attic
A large crowd watched as the board of health and workers cleared the attic of No 91 Charter Street, home to Daniel J Cole a hermit who refused access. Inspectors found forty years of filth amid matted hair and vermin, prompting eviction and a full cleaning and fumigation of the derelict den.
