French Will Case Details and Changes in Counsel

Mrs. French testified about the will matter and a separate suit by Doyle against Benjamin French. She recalled Mr. Dickinson, acting as Mr. French’s counsel for about fifteen years, who described the testator as once deliberate and cautious but later frail and diminished mentally. He advised a settlement in a tort action, then withdrew after Mrs. French’s reply and new counsel took over.
