Municipal Court Weathered by Embezzlement and Larceny Rulings

In the central court Judge Forsaith Benjamin Wigger fined 15 with costs for embezzlement. Bryson and Hardy faced $500 and $300 bails for larceny. Harmon held $1200 for breaking and entering and larceny. Leavitt appealing after one year for intoxication. Duffy fined 10 dollars and costs, appealed. Davis sentenced to one year in reform school, appealed. Chamberlin fined 50 for selling unwholesome meat. In South Boston, Mary Mahoney pled guilty to arson and faced $1500 to appear before grand jury. Worcester held $800 for exposing himself, O Leary vagrant six months in house of industry.

Boston Man Is Pardoned After False Assault Charge

The executive council granted an unconditional pardon to Charles McKenna of Boston, freed from a wrongful assault sentence after the actual guilty party confessed.
