Internal Revenue Rules Bankers Clark Dodge & Co Tax
The Commissioner of Internal Revenue rules Clark, Dodge & Co as bankers under the 1864 act amendments. They owe tax on capital employed in banking and on deposits including interest bearing and non interest deposits. The ruling treats all banking financed capital as capital for tax and confirms deposits taxed. Brokers or bankers combined activity does not remove banker tax liability.
