Two Men Crushed by 1100 Pound Wool Bale at East Boston Warehouse

At East Boston’s Clyde Street loading platform a 1100 pound bale fell from the fifth story when a chain tackle slipped. Daniel Breslin, 49, and Alfred Tirencatelli, 21, were seriously injured with a fractured skull and a broken spine. Both on the danger list and not expected to recover.
