Mrs H W Davis and Miss Helen Ayers, guests at the Adams House, were dropped from the second floor of the hotel basement by Elevator Boy William Dunlea. The car crashed into the basement floor, injuring Dunlea’s knee and shaking the two women though none are seriously hurt.
Mrs Davis and Miss Ayers both claim Boston as home and live at Adams House Suite 389. They arrived at Mason street entrance yesterday afternoon and used a rear hotel elevator reserved for women patrons.
Lulu J. Macauley of River Hebert Bend N S believed despondent over losing work, inhaled illuminating gas to commit suicide in a Waltham lodging house. The 2 year old had faced a four day factory shutdown.

Holyoke March 29 Mayor John J White left for Fort Mansfield Rhode Island tonight to secure the body of Sergeant Charest brother of Mrs White who is reported to have taken his own life The news of the death by own action shocked both Mayor and Mrs White and they could assign no reason for it Sergeant Charest visited Holyoke six weeks ago and at that time appeared to be in the best of spirits.
Despondent Sylvester NM. Small, 31, of Chatham, a tubercular patient at a Rutland sanitarium, shot himself behind the right ear with a revolver during an attendant’s absence. He had been a resident for nine months, was single, and formerly worked on the oyster beds in Chatham.
Paris reports the marriage of Mrs Annie R. P. Bartlett of New York to Antonio La Daga, a member of the King’s household, conducted today in the city.
Mrs Helena Garfield of Morse Road severely slashed her 6 year old son Earle with a razor and then killed herself with the same weapon in their kitchen. William E Garfield, the father, found the bodies at noon after leaving for his milk business in Quinebaug.
Mr Gar field rushed to his brother's home after entering a kitchen view of a grisly murder suicide. Mrs Garfield had been suffering melancholia since her mother’s death and killed her son then herself before dying, with police and Medical Examiner Bradford confirming the case.
Boston censors approve the Ma estic Theatre screening of The Two Women in cut form. Police Commissioner O Meara cites a report to the Mayor noting the exhibition does not harm community morals under the relevant act, with certain lines edited out.
