Abner Che mney Goodell, famed inventor and pioneer in printing and engraving, died at his Highland street home aged 93. Born February 9 186 in North Orange Massachusetts he traced descent to Robert Goodell the Ipswich immigrant of 1634. His career shaped double sided printing presses copper and steel engraving plates and the first locomotive for the Boston and Lowell railroad.
