At the fourth meeting L A Dean was elected Treasurer and J Hutchinson Secretary. A new Working Committee includes Kimball Washburn Davis Camilton and Best. Classes begin Monday and Thursday at 8 pm with a second gym exhibition planned next Saturday. Billiard prizes were awarded with Kingman Whitney Hadley in ties. Greco Roman wrestlers Bauer Christos Coburn and Miller challengers loom. South Boston Yacht Club plans a new clubhouse site at City Point. Beacon Park will host Captain Bogardus in two exhibitions of shooting pigeons. George Thompson challenges John Brotherson to a three mile boat race in late April or early May. Lincoln Boat Club announces crews for the season and an annual regatta set for May 22.

Arrival of Dominion from Liverpool to Canada trade

The steamer Dominion arrived on Saturday with cargo for Canada. It is expected to load here with grain, cotton, and provisions. She is consigned to Thayer and Lincoln. The steamer Istrian of the Leyland line sailed from Liverpool on Saturday bound for this port.

Man in Hayes employ suffers seizure during ride in Kingston

A man working for Hon. Francis B. Hayes was seized by a fit while riding two horses in Kingston street on Saturday. He fell from the back of the horse, was taken to Station Four, and recovered enough to go home without help.

Dedham Baptist Fair at Mechanics Hall in April

A grand fair organized by the Baptist Society will be held in Mechanics Hall on April 19 20 and 21 evenings. Rev J P Bodfish of the Boston Cathedral gave a lecture titled Why I became a Catholic in Memorial Hall on Saturday evening. The public school scholars will present a musical exhibition in Memorial Hall on Friday afternoon.
