Collision in Boston harbor between Vene Alan and Revere ferry

The European steamer Vene Alan of the Leyland line and the ferryboat Revere collided in the harbor yesterday morning. Revere carried 150 passengers to the Boston side before returning to East Boston for repairs. Captain Tyrer will stay idle as local steamboat inspectors investigate the incident.
