In Newport New Hampshire on March 23 a jury in Superior Court awarded Blanche L. Young $500 against her husband Dr Oscar C Young of Charlestown for an April 26 1921 assault. The jury also awarded $200 against Nellie W Walsh a Charlestown nurse on the same charge. Counter suits by Walsh against Young were noted.
The Milk Drivers' Union 399 voted after a wage-scale committee report that dealers demand a $5 weekly cut, drivers offer $2 weekly, and cannot absorb more, guiding the committee to notify employers.
