Governor Walsh said he will send a special message to the Legislature once the Justice Department and railroad officials confirm the agreement. He noted he will address views on removing the Boston Holding Company act prohibition if officially presented.
Chairman Elliott and counsel head to New York and Boston after three months in Washington. New Haven board to meet in New York Thursday to review the joint action with the Department of Justice advisers. Federal officials will finalize minor details of the dissolution while Massachusetts must lift its lien before Boston & Maine stock transfer proceeds.
General Villa moves from Yermo toward Torreon and Gomez Palacio as rumors swirl of a Federal resistance there. A sudden rebel advance routs a Federal column fifteen miles north of Torreon, with 108 bodies recovered after the skirmish in the city streets.

Walton A Green Frederick W Enwright and Dr Hugh Cabot take over management of the Boston Journal. The paper will run as non partisan under new control. Former publisher Matthew Hale steps down to devote time to the Progressive party development.
Walton A. Green becomes publisher and editor in chief of the Journal after a year since the property transfer from Frank A. Munsey. He is a Harvard trained lawyer who practiced in New York and Boston. He is joined by Mr. Enwright who runs the Telegram and has Boston newspaper background. Dr. Hugh Cabot, head of the MGH outpatient dept and Harvard lecturer, has contributed to the Journal and served as censor of medical ads. Continued on Page 4 First Column.
William E. Dorr, condemned for murdering Lynn millionaire George E. Marsh, prepares for execution at the State Prison. His attorney Charles N. Barney and spiritual adviser Rev. Arthur H. Harriman say Governor Walsh will not intervene.
Yesterday he spoke with Mr Harriman and Mr Barney and urged cremation after the execution. He faced the end bravely and hopes to be the last to face the electric chair. He wishes capital punishment to end and asks his mother not to visit. His sisters live in Maine and California. Legal witnesses are notified for a midnight march to the death house.
The Endicott household faced a dramatic morning fire after Daniel M. La Cruz, a valet, tried to kill diplomat F. Monroe Endicott. Endicott and his sisters pledged lifelong support to the valet, who claimed fear of poisoning and discharge. Firefighters rescued all. Endicott sustained burns while trying to save La Cruz, who spoke of a motive and indicated he wished to die.
In Belfast, more than 100 officers resign including cavalry amid pleas from Gen Paget to stay. A new commander accepted to lead forces against Ulster Volunteers while Dorset and Norfolk regiments face mutinous sympathy and restrictions amid nationalist attacks. Continued on Page 9-Fifth Column.
