Guerrillas Arrested for Telegraph Cable Cut Near Cherrystone

Five guerrillas were captured on the Eastern Shore and brought to Fortress Monroe charged with cutting the telegraph line near Cherrystone. Postmaster General Blair visited the Rip Raps and the Norfolk Navy Yard. No ships sought refuge in the Roads today.
