Horatio Hall Sinks After Fog Collision Off Cape Cod
In dense fog the coastwise steamers Horatio Hall bound for New York and Dimock bound for Boston collided in Pollock Rip Channel at 6 am. The Horatio Hall sank within a half hour while the Dimock ashore on Cape Cod six hours later. All passengers and crew aboard the Hall were saved.
