Str Louis reports Waldron sixty miles south of Fort Smith Arkansas was burned by guerrillas a few nights ago. Twenty steamers and a large supply train from Little Rock arrived at Fort Smith. The steamer Leon with commissary stores was sunk above Little Rock on the 6th inst. Gen Price has returned from Matamoros and now commands rebels in Arkansas. Rebel deserters continue to come in sizable numbers. A Springfield Ill report about Copperheads killing six soldiers was erroneous. a drunken man taunted Jeff Davis and was beaten by a veteran.

Collision on Toledo Railroad near Bellevue Kills Three
