The Thirty second Congress and Tennessee political scene

The thirty second Congress will convene in December with 62 senators, 41 held over and 21 new, 130 of 233 House members elected. Tennessee Democrats chaired by ex Gov Brown pushed compromise support while education and internal improvements featured in resolves. Gov Trousdale expected to be re elected.
