Guilty Pleas and Sentences In Local Court

John Hickey pleaded guilty to attempting to rescue a prisoner and received eight months at the house of correction. Receipts of stolen goods against Charles E. Whitney were not pressed. Patrick Hayes Michael Jennessy and Joan McMahon were found guilty of larceny and sent to the house of correction for lengths ranging from three years to eighteen months. James Antrim and John H. Collins faced related charges not pressed or pleaded guilty to robbery. George Fillbrook and Jennie Gleason faced assault, larceny, and related penalties with costs. Mary Easton was imprisoned for two years for idle and disorderly conduct. William H. Taylor remains on trial for breaking and entering.
