Charlestown Club Leads Dorchester in Bowling Team Match

Ten Charlestown Club bowlers faced Old Dorchester in a half of a two half match with a second half to be rolled at Charlestown next Wednesday night. Charlestowns lead by over a hundred pins as Old Dorchester hopes to reclaim the trophy based on total pins rather than games. Old Dorchester players Butters Richardson Kingman Cutter and Gray and Charlestown standouts Ingraham Southwell Ashworth Marston and Kenney reached the 500 mark in a strong display that kept play lively from after supper until 11 o'clock.

A large Tufts crowd watched events at Goddard Gymnasium with top honors going to A R Kempton in 16 pound shot and T S Hall in fence vault. R F Smith won the potato finals, while H C Turner claimed rope climb and running high jump honors.
