Massachusetts Senate and House Proceedings

A surveyors of highways election bill was refused a third reading. In the House a militia enrollment bill was reported, and aid for families of volunteers was ordered engrossed. The Midland Railroad Company bill was amended and placed on today’s orders. Members appeared buoyant after town meetings.
