Self in Taxicab Fatal Self-Inflicted Wound

Frederick E. Sands 41 living with his brother in Melrose Highlands died after shooting himself in a taxicab at Harrison avenue near Maxim. His brother Fijah M. Sands and a Grace Hospital doctor reported the incident. Dubai Kaplan, the chauffeur, heard a shot and believed it from a backfire. Elijah Sands, who followed, could not stop the tragedy.
