The Senate amendment proposed by Mr Mallory was concurred in 67 to 47. Mr Morrill of Vermont reported from the Conference Committee on the disagreeing Tariff bill amendments, which was concurred in. The House agreed to the Senate amendment extending the overland Pacific Mail contract, and the House adjourned at 10 4 o'clock.

At a Bangor meeting June 29 stockholders of the Maine Telegraph Company elected directors for the coming year.
