City Council and delegation of prominent citizens will meet Prof. De Valera at South Station and escort him to Copley Plaza. He will be guest of city authorities at an informal dinner and plans include a visit to Cambridge.
Paris June 27 The President will depart Europe tomorrow after the peace treaty is signed. He will leave Gare de Invalides at 9 30 pm by special train, reach Brest Sunday morning and board the George Washington which sails at noon.
Saloon owners and liquor dealers in Boston announced they will enforce wartime prohibition with 546 licensed bars to close and no sale of liquor beer or light wine. Some bars may stay open for soft drinks and light refreshments while others will close awaiting presidential action.
Edward de Valera, Sinn Fein President, arrives in Boston from New York at 4 PM. Thousands, including many organization members, will greet him at South Station and hear his first public speech on the Irish cause in this city.
German plenipotentiaries Dr. Hermann Mueller and Dr. Bell arrived in Versailles for the signing of the peace treaty. The signing is scheduled for tomorrow at 3 PM in the Hall of Mirrors with distinguished international guests expected.
Dr. Hermann Mueller the foreign minister and Dr. Bell head of the colonial office arrived in position as Germany’s designated signatories to the momentous document, joining the new cabinet and preparing to formalize the agreement.
American League games saw Detroit beat Cleveland 6 to 1 while St Louis defeated Chicago 4 to 1. Cincinnati topped Pittsburgh 5 to 3 in the National League. Chicago 3 St Louis 2 and rain affected several matchups with Boston New York and Washington Philadelphia also listed as rainouts.
Building trades in the area will resume next Monday morning after unions and the Building Trades Employers' Association reached a 2 week agreement presided by Mayor Andrew J. Peters. The plan, proposed June 16 by Carpenters' Union international officer T. M. Guerin, sets 9 cents an hour until April 1 1920 and $1 an hour until December 1 1820. Sheet metal workers and plumbers did not sign but are expected to approve after internal votes.
President Wilson plans to travel directly to Washington to present the peace conference findings to Congress and then undertake an extended tour to explain the treaty and League covenant to the public.

Washington June 27 Secretary Daniels telegraphed that the navy dry zone order extending to all naval training stations will not be rescinded before July 1 and that no exceptions will be made for Newport. He cited two telegrams from Newport officials with the latter described as very insistent.
Milford authorities probe the theft of more than a dozen sticks of dynamite and coarse black powder from the Milford Pink Granite Company shed near Main Street. Detectives, pursuing a possible anarchist link, expect the search to reach distant cities, noting a large amount of blasting powder remained untouched.
The central council of the 2 percent Irish county associations plans to escort President De Valera from South Station to the Copley Plaza Hotel this evening. Members are urged to report at South Station by 5 o clock. Tomorrow the 32 county associations meet at Deacon Hall at 11 30 and march at noon to the hotel, arriving by 12 45. President John Foley and delegates will be received by De Valera at 12 45.
