Change of sailing to St John schedule revised

Owing to the Prince Edward not leaving St. John N B before next Monday the first direct trip to St John is postponed to Wednesday July 5 at 11 a m. From that date regular bi weekly direct trips will run leaving Long Wharf Boston Wednesdays at 11 a m and Saturdays at 4 p m.

Two-Masted Schooner Mazourka Wrecked Off Boston Channel

The Mazourka from Rockport Maine, carrying 1090 barrels of lime, ran aground and burned after a collision with a sunken obstruction in Fort Point Channel. The crew escaped unharmed, the vessel and 800 barrels of lime were lost, and the craft was hauled to the flats to avoid blocking the channel. Owner G. E. Carleton of Rockport. Boston to Build New Theatre on Globe Site
