Critic Raps Concert Pieces and Opera Renditions
The reviewer dismisses the recent concert and opera performances as overpraised and flawed. He criticizes the minor frets and crescendos, calls the piano harmonies poorly weighed, and notes the notturna lacked true expression. He also mocks the audience sounds and compares stagings unfavorably to Patagonia and Japan.
