Veterans of Many Wars Parade in Boston Triumph

The Boston veterans parade drew crowds as three generations of fighters from Civil War to Mexican War marching past Arlington Street. Generals Miles and Hooker comrades greeted by old allies, with Miles receiving heartfelt cheers from spectators and a poignant moment as a blind veteran saluted. The event featured numerous units including the Ninth Infantry, naval brigades, and Spanish War Veterans, ending with a drumbeat of the old Thirty‑third Massachusetts drum.
