Gilman Arrest Reveals Bigamist Tale in Dorchester

Frank H Gilman, husband of Dorothy who died by her own hand and allegedly killed two infants, was arrested in Dorchester on a Monroe Mich warrant. A WWI veteran and 2d 4th Col, Gilman reportedly hid a second wife in New York. He remains jailed without bail.

FourYearOld Boy Fatally Hurt by Car in Dorchester

Dale Roys four years old, son of Mr and Mrs John W Dale of 656 Washington Dorchester, was crushed when a cart he rode on was struck by a heavy auto driven by Paul H Crockett of Hyde Park. The driver was held on a serious charge after the accident on Brent Street near Washington. Roy was carried to Dr Linius E Roberta’s office for treatment.

Gang Attack Beats Two Officers at Berkeley Hall Dance

A two-score gang attacked patrolmen James Hickson and Owen Heeney at a Cedar Associates dance in Berkeley Hall South End. Hickson suffered two deep head gashes and facial bruises. Heeney received bruises and a right hand injury. Both were treated at City Hospital.

Dorchester Girl Hit by Car Driver Fled Scene

Four year old Helen Caliin of 150 Adams Street Dorchester remained in critical condition at City Hospital after a car struck her on Adams Street near her home yesterday afternoon. The driver fled the scene and did not stop to identify himself.
