Thomas Weltch 20 of 111 Poplar street Somerville was riding on Centre street Roxbury when an inward bound Jamaica Plain electric car hit his team at 6 o clock last night. He was thrown to the ground and severely injured about the left side and hip. He is in City Hospital in serious condition.
In New York on June 22 at the Manhattan Athletic Club boxing tournament Jack McAuliffe stopped former preacher Billy Frazier in the third round after delivering sustained punishment. Referee John L. Sullivan oversaw the clash originally slated for six rounds.

Haumax Nova Scotia June 22 The steamer Alpha left June 15 for Bermuda with its shaft broken and was found yesterday eighteen miles north of Bermuda. A search steamer has been sent to locate and assist the vessel.
