Robert Alan M Browne a former Presbyterian clergyman and bigamist with four marriages and one divorce is to be arraigned in Boston on indictments for bigamy and larceny. He is to be brought back with Mrs Ethel M Turner-Osbaldeston.
William Chadwick of Quincy aged 98 appeared in court with his four sons Thomas 9 James 66 Charles 9 and others named in a suit for neglect to support an aged parent. The sons testified they had supported their father until two years ago after he moved to Quincy Point. Mrs Mary McDougal said she received 33 in two years for his care. Judge Avery asked the probation officer to arrange a weekly payment plan to support the father.
The Rt. Rev. Arthur J. Teeling denounced flappers as a disgrace to womankind while addressing 18 graduates at St. Mary’s Girls High School in Lynn. He urged traditional standards as he criticized bobbed hair and revealing attire.
