Graduates Celebrate Tufts Forty Fourth Commencement

The Tufts University forty fourth commencement marked a large class with 127 graduates and 133 degrees, including the first from the new Dental School. Dental School had forty four graduates, Medical School thirty three, Scientific schools sixteen, College of Letters thirty one, and Divinity three. The event featured speeches by Stephen G. Ritchie and Jd G. Ritchie, with President Capen and other officials attending a reception. The senior essay readings and a grand senior dance followed, with about seventy five couples at Odd Fellows Hall, ending after midnight.

New Collegians Receive Diplomas in Cambridge

Commencement at the Crim School Cambridge featured a sermon by Julius W. Atwood of Columbus. Bishop Lawrence and Dean Hodges assisted as diplomas were conferred by Robert Treat Paine.
