Edinburgh June 14 The Highland residence of the Duke of Fife at Mar Lodge Braemar Aberdeenshire burned entirely today. The fire began in the duke's private room and, due to scarce water, could not be extinguished. The blaze spread to an adjacent wood threatening a nearby ballroom and tennis court. Queen Victoria witnessed the destruction arriving from Balmoral.
